Some of my favourite tracks range from their old music, through to their most recent ones from their current album promoted this year. These include: That's What You Get Hard Times Still Into You 26 Ain't It Fun Ignorance  Told You So Arctic Monkeys The Arctic Monkeys are a British rock group that have been together since 2002. Some of my favourite songs by them include: Do I Wanna Know? Arabella Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High? R U Mine Snap Out Of It  Panic! At The Disco Panic! At The Disco originated from L

Blog #14: Rock Concerts Vs. EDM Sets

Rock Concerts Vs. EDM Sets  This topic is in my opinion, the two different genres bring about two different moods when performed live. Rock concerts in general are more classic, nostalgic and elegant in comparison to EDM performances. Rock concerts in my opinion, the music performed live sounds different compared to their studio quality. Music nowadays are more focused on perfecting the sound when recorded and especially when performed live the instrumental is being played through rather than performed. When attending a rock concert and looking at how all these instruments and vocals making these sounds is rather hypnotic to visually look at and listen to.  EDM events are different in performing music, the music is influenced by the DJ and his set influencing the sound and the audience for that "bass drop." EDM are different because there is a lack of instruments but there is a series of lasers and light shows that complements the performance of the DJ.
